I asked five residents of the area of Haamstede on the head of Schouwe-Duiveland island in the province of Zeeland, to give an oral 360º panorama description on a chosen spot near the sea, starting from north. The sessions took place on five moments in a light cycle:
During the sessions I was in the Bewaerschole carrying a watch and connected with the observer via a mobile telephone. I positioned myself to the north and turned around my axe once in 36 minutes. I directed the observer via the telephone to turn 360º along with my own movement. I repeated aloud each of the descriptions of the observer.
The sessions were open to the public. During the sessions I made sound recordings of the descriptions. The texts were typed out later and were read aloud simultaneously by the observers for an audience in De Bewaerschole on saturday evening.
