crossing - writing group
We write each sentence of the text, which in 60 sentences describes the sound-curve of a passing airplane, on a sheet of op paper and show it in the direction of the public space.
Starting on one side of the space, another writer joins in with each sentence, until after bridging both ends of the space, the row starts to get shorter again, ending on the other side of the space when all sentences are written down.

further information | The performance Crossing is based on the sound-curve of a passing airplane.
The basic material for the performance is the description of such a sound-curve in 60 sentences that are called out in a strict schedule by several participants whose voices, at the peak, bridge both ends of the performance space.
Due to covid 19-regulations, by which a voice-project was not possible, a Crossing-variant arose, for which the participants do not call out the sentences but instead write them on sheets of paper and show them to the window to the public space.
