wave 4
Three drummers with snaredrums on a stand form a line on the middle of the dark stage.
On the drums they have a timer. The drummers are instructed to develop a drum-roll from the softest till the loudest sound in 15 minutes.
The sound is constantly in motion because the estimation of the passage of time in relation to the strength of the drum-roll is not the same for all drummers.
While from silence an unbroken soft and even drum-roll becomes audible, a diffuse line of very low light is glowing up on the front side of the stage-flour.
While the light increases, the projected line gradually moves in the direction of the drummers who at the same time gradually increase the volume of their rolling.
The drummers slowly come into view by the reflection of the light from the floor, which light is getting stronger and further approaching the drummers.
After 15 minutes the full light is falling from above on the drummers, who are now rolling on its loudest volume.
In the mean time the naked back wall of the stage is coming into view.
The line of light continues to move beyond the drummers, while decreasing, together with the decreasing volume of the drum-roll.
The drummers, now appearing as sihouettes against the back wall of the stage, decrease their rolling parallel with the decreasing of the light until all is dark and silent again.
