On the 22nd of April 2011 I sat along the coast of Inis Oirr, the smallest of the Aran Islands on the west coast of Ireland. For exactly one hour I observed and described the visual and audible movements of the waves of the Atlantic ocean. I later typed out the hand-written notations in order to re-pronounce them in the time lapse of writing, thus re-enacting the original hour of observing and writing.
A handwritten 1 hour observation of the waves on the west coast of Ireland, re-written and at the same time pronounced aloud for an audience.

- - In the lively accustic space of Croxhapox in Ghent the text was simultaneously pronounced by 5 voices. Kathrin, Wouter, Yves, Jet and Johan were seated on small tables spread over the space, where at the same time was an exhibition of visual art.
- - at Baltic Contemporary Art in Newcastle as part of a symposium about Fiona Tan's project about the sea. Curated by Sandra Johnston.
