Sprong (Jump)
The hall has a length of about 25 meters and a with of 9 meters, while it is two storeys high. Along two short sides are balconies.
I decided to make a spatial jump between the opposing balconies with the sound of drumming.
Realization:
On both of the balconies 5 drummers are deployed, each with a snare drum, a digital clock and time schedule. On one side a drummer begins a drum roll as quietly as possible, after which he increases the volume with the passing of time in such a way that after 10 minutes he is drumming at full strength. After two minutes the second drummer joins in at the same volume of the first one, then the third, etc.
The collective times are chosen in such a way that an acceleration occurs in the increase of the total volume.
After precisely 10 minutes, the five drummers stop at at once on their highest volume. At exactly the same moment the drummers on the other side take over at the same level of rolling, but in a reversed development.
After 10 minutes they have reduced their volume on the same curve to silence.
