an exhibition in Kunstenlab Deventer 18.12.2008 - 01.02.2009 together with Gilbert van Drunen en Willy de Sauter.

Three very different artists create a sort of installation.
Gilbert creates a large sculpture by pouring clay over former ceramic works.
Willy makes architectonic and furniture-like objects and constructions that relate to skills and crafts like painting and plastering.
I myself will create sound points in the space where one can meet a passer by from the Dordtselaan, the street where I live on the Rotterdam south bank.
The spoken portraits are the results of descriptions that I made for 'Verhage, Dordtselaan portretten' during 6 weeks in september/october.

During Wouldn't it, ..... the same artists will show related work in Phoebus Rotterdam
Gilbert creates new ceramic works by by glueing and melting together different ceramic objects, mostly bought in gift shops, accompanied by written words and comments.
Willy will concentrate on two dimensional works with glossy plastered surfaces, thus creating a beautiful comment on the skill of painting.
I myself will show my series of portraits "Kunstvlaai portretten' dating from 2006.
I gave oral descriptions of visitors portraits, which I later typed out and wrote with pencil on paper with a photograph of the portrait as an underlayer.
